The upcoming James Bond feature, Spectre, features Léa Seydoux in the role of Bond Girl Madeleine Swann. Seydoux has quietly built an impressive resume during her career. Her credits include roles in Blue is the Warmest Color, Robin Hood, Inglorious Basterds, Midnight in Paris and Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol and her career is showing no signs of slowing down. Seydoux is taking the momentum of the upswing of her career and is taking it to the X-Men universe, now that she will star opposite Channing Tatum in the upcoming Gambit film directed by Rupert Wyatt. Her character will be Bella Donna Bordeaux, Remy LeBeau’s love-interest/rival.
In X-Men lore, Bella was Gambit’s love since childhood, but eventually she gained powers of her own and became head of the Assassins Guild. Gambit, aka Remy LeBeau, was head of the Thieves Guild.
There should not be any doubt that the French actress’ career is certainly taking off and I’m looking forward to seeing her in her upcoming roles as Madeleine Swann in Spectre and Bella Donna Bordeaux in Gambit. Spectre is set for release in November this year and Gambit, is due in theaters by October 7, 2016.
