How is this for news on May the Fourth?! The folks at Disney and Lucasfilm are keeping quite busy. The finishing touches of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens are being applied, Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One is starting to gain traction, a new director is needed for the second chapter of the Anthology series since Josh Trank was fired and information about the second installment of the Anthology series has been divulged to the public: it’s Boba Fett’s origin story.
Yes, that Boba Fett. The second generation galactic bounty hunter who delivered Han Solo-frozen in carbonite-to Jabba the Hutt near the end of The Empire Strikes Back. The same Boba Fett who held his father’s helmet after Mace Windu separated his father’s head from his shoulders from Attack of the Clones and the same Boba Fett who met his untimely demise by falling into the sarlac pit in Return of the Jedi. He will be the focal figure in the second chapter of the Star Wars Anthology Series.
Jeremy Bulloch played Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, while Daniel Logan played the young Boba in Attack of the Clones. Currently there is no one attached to the project or release date.
