“Guardians of the Galaxy” is a few weeks away from rounding out Phase 2 of Marvel’s Avengers Initiative and after the credits and post-credits roll, the stage will be set for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes doing batlle with the sentient automaton on May 1, 2015. Marvel’s grand plan leading to the ultimate showdown between the Avengers and the Mad Titan, is coming together beautifully and now the gears are whirring for what is about to come regarding Phase 3. So far, the future films include “Ant-Man,” “Captain America 3,” “Thor 3,” and “Doctor Strange” but recent developments indicate, that Phase 3 will be the most extensive yet. Reports are coming in regarding release dates for five unknown Marvel movies.
Marvel will release movies on July 28, 2017 and Nov. 3, 2017; July 6, 2018 and Nov. 2, 2018 and May 3, 2019.
There is no word on which films are tied to these release dates, but the studio does have a plan and a schedule and they are determined to stick to it.
Update: Marvel has added another mystery film to its docket. The studio has secured a May 2019 release date for a film that is at this point, unknown. Speculation suggests that this could be the final Avengers film but everything at this point is unconfirmed.
