The Oscar nominations are now revealed!

This year, the Academy Awards turn 86. For 86 years, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have honored the extraordinary accomplishments in cinema and this year, they will honor the elite of the elite of 2013, where amazing works of cinema were on display that dazzled, challenged, awed, disoriented and wowed audiences in multitudes of theaters. The anticipation has led to now, where the nominees of the 86th Annual Academy Awards have just been announced. Let’s focus on the Big 8 shall we? The Big 8 is what I like to call the two screenplay categories, the four acting categories, Best Director, and the highest honor, Best Picture. As the title suggests, the nominees are:

Best Original Screenplay:
